Does it ever happen to you, like at school, when you start to talk about anime, your friends are like: "Why do you watch 'Japanese animation'? It's pointless and crappy!"?
That gets me really mad. Like my one friend - He watches the single weirdest shows on TV, and calls ANIME weird?! What kind of messed up universe is he living in?!
He says he's saw anime, and doesn't like it. I'm guessing it's because he doesn't understand it. Whenever I talk to him about some complicated subject, he gets lost in it, so that's one reason to assume.
In my school, me, and about 3 other kids, are true Otakus.
So whenever someone assumes anime is pointless, just remember, they probably aren't as smart as you are
